Solutions for the Orphan Crisis

There is no single solution or multitude of solutions that will ever cure the  world of orphans. There are only some solutions that are better than others in terms of effectiveness and efficiency but the latter attribute is often sacrificed for the former and the contrary is also true. The Orphan Coalition believes the best solutions lie with adoption and with group living homes. Our primary focus centers on one orphan being adopted by one family living in a loving and supporting home. This however, is not scalable in the scope of the amount of orphans needed care right now. In addition to adoption we support group living through carefully screened children’s centers. We believe that orphans can still be loved and cared for in a group setting. In both circumstances we regularly check on the orphans whether it be individual home visits or group home visits.
