There are 260 orphan children that call this home, but on any given day as many as 600 are present during meals. There are just so many orphans in the area and other children who simply have no one providing for them, that they cannot be turned away. Like most children from this area, they have lost parents to disease, war, and abandonment and this home is truly their only hope. This home was never intented to be this size but the children just kept coming, so we have a lot to do to accomodate the number of children here...new dorms, dining facilities, etc.
