This Children's Home for older boys is one of the only ones of its kind and that makes it all the more important. When children reach age thirteen, there must be separate dorms for boys and girls. In some children's homes this sadly means the older children must leave. We started this as a pilot project so that as children turn thirteen, they have a home they can go to if the one they are from is physically too small to accomodate dorms for younger children and older boys and girls. The children here are very happy and healthy and doing well in school. The costs for 11 of the boys in this home are still being covered out of the General Fund and we need sponsors for them.
