Many of the children in this home were found wandering in the jungle without parental care or taken in from a "neighboring", yet very remote village that can only be reached by a challenging hike down cliffs and across a barely discernable trail through the jungle. Without this home, these children of the jungle would have little hope of survival, let alone hope for a future outside the jungle where things like education and medical care do not exist.
