The 40 orphan children that live here are ages 4 to 14 and are happy and healthy. They come from the slums in the surrounding areas and this home is the only barrier between them and the harsh life in those slums where many were being treated as slaves in return for scraps from the table and a place on the floor to sleep. Now they attend school, eat regular high quality meals, sleep on warm dry beds and get to just be children. The facility costs are covered as are the costs for 29 of the children.
