The children in this facility are small for their ages because of malnutrition. Some of these children have been taken away from their parents because of neglect and abuse and one boy that is crippled and mute was found abandoned and was taken to the orphanage to live. Every child in this facility has been brought to it by the Mexican government, however, the children receive no monetary support from the government because the funds just aren’t there. Yet, the Director Veronica welcomes all of them with open arms. All of the children attend school except the boy. The new Children's Home is under construction and in the mean time the home is operated in a rented building.
