The founder and foster mother for this home is a legend in her community. Christine Nantale has been caring for orphan children for more than 40 years. In all of those years, she never had more than one days worth of food in the children's home and there were many days when the children went hungry, but they were safe. The children in this home are primarily dumpster babies and latriene babies. They were literally found in garbage dumps and toilets. LOH started helping this home several months ago out of our general fund and we now have the costs of the facility mostly sponsored. Christine quite literally almost passed out when the first delivery of goods was made. We will be moving the home to a new location where we can start them into agriculture and raising animals. We need sponsors for the children at this time and maybe more for the home itself when the move is accomplished.
